Privacy Policy
Last updated October 9, 2026
My Cloud Player ("we", "us") lets you play audio files that you keep in your own Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, display name and, if you add one, a profile photo.
- Sign-in details: if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from that service. With Apple you can choose to hide your email.
- Library details: song titles, artist names, version labels and the file IDs of audio files you add from your drive.
- Your activity in the app: playlists, favorites, play history, display preferences and share links you create.
- Subscription status: whether your subscription is active. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider on our website and never reach the app.
What we never collect
- We never copy, upload or store your audio files. They stay in your drive and are streamed to you only when you press play.
- We do not read documents, photos or other files in your drive.
- We do not collect your location, contacts or advertising identifiers.
Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox access
When you connect a drive, you give My Cloud Player read-only access so it can list your folders and audio files and stream the ones you choose to play. We only use this access to show and play your music. You can disconnect a drive at any time in the app, or remove access from your Google or Microsoft or Dropbox account settings.
My Cloud Player's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not let people read it except where you ask us to for support, for security, or where required by law.
How we use your information
- To run your account and sign you in.
- To show your library, playlists and favorites and to play your music.
- To let people you send a share link to listen to the song or playlist you shared.
- To check that your subscription is active.
- To answer your support requests and keep the service secure.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information. We use trusted service providers to host the app and database, to sign you in, to send account emails, and to take payments on our website. They may only use your information to provide those services to us. Songs and playlists you share are only visible to people who have the link.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you close your account, we delete your profile, library, playlists, favorites, history, share links and drive connections.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time inside the app: open your profile picture, choose Account, then go to "Close account". You can also email us and we will delete it for you.
Children
My Cloud Player is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, export or delete your information. Email us and we will help.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and let you know in the app if the change is significant.
